In 1955 the Capiau family started the gathering of metals. During the years the firm specialised in the demolition of ships and buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1980, father and son Capiau started a small yard in Willebroek.

In 1992 the son and present Managing Director Wim Capiau took charge and started a new yard in Lokeren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2002 the company name was changed to Capiau Recycling and specialised in non ferro metals like aluminium, copper and zinc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Capiau Recycling is a well known name in the Belgian recycling bussiness and known for it\u2019s revolutionairy aluminum recycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newst expand of the company results in a new building where we proces aluminum and other metals as efficient as possible, considering the circular economy.<\/p>\n\n\n
